Waking

I wake up to another day
but I have nothing more to say
So I’m going back to sleep
in a waking hide-and-seek

Sure Thing

I’m not so sure of that
But very sure of this
The more I am unsure
The less I can dismiss

Stormy Weather

I will wait
until the storm has passed
Hide away
as long as it will last

Then appear
to make the world anew
Without fear
until the next is due

Perpetual War

You will be killed
on legal grounds
We use the law
to take you down

Because we know
that if we don’t
You will survive
and then we won’t

Please understand
that what we do
has to be done
because of you

If you were us
you’d do the same
We wash our hands
We’re not to blame

For Every Reason

I’m doing it for every reason
That’s what makes it fun
So much more enjoyable
than doing it for one

Monday

Monday arrives
with nothing to hide
Taunting the everyday man

All of the week
the poor and the meek
continue to do what they can

In The Middle

I’m in the middle of something
But I don’t know what it is
I’m really trying to find out
But all I find is this

There’s really nothing going on
A lot of nothing going on
And I am right in the middle
I’m in the middle of nothing

The Only Illusion

In Tuition

Every second of the day
I am either there or not
There is nothing in between
It is all that I have got

And whenever I’m not there
I don’t notice it at first

my fate appears
to soothe my soul
and mock my fears

I rest relieved
of any doubt
with no idea
what it’s about

Dharma

I do not see why
and neither why not
when my peace of mind
is all that I’ve got

I’m fading out
like everything around me

Inner Jubilation

I walk along the shore
I really do adore
the line between the land and sea

The sun is high above
The wind is all around
I jubilate without a sound

I Lost All Interest

I lost all interest
when I realized
there was too much hazzle
just to get onboard

I was misdirected
with a bunch of lies
but my loss of interest
was its own reward

Words Of Grace

I listen as I speak
to hear what I will say
So I can learn from it
and soon be on my way

and this is still the case
But they try to act as if
in order to save face

Enjoying Life

The art of enjoying life
can be practiced in various ways
But practice cannot replace
the enjoyment of normal days

Preference

My preference has changed
Like many times before
I used to want a lot
But do not anymore

I may have had enough
Or may not be the same
Whatever reason I may find
There’s no-one here to blame

Revelation

Have we learned nothing
from the past hundred years
that could save us from wars
and relieve all our fears

Of course we have learned
our great leader said
but those who have learned
are now dead

In Tuition

I always find another way
to do the things I do today
No matter what my reason brings
I end up doing other things

Dead Serious

I welcome death
when it’s inevitable

But until then
not so much
